The Saxony chess federation's nuLiga portal shows the match of the club's team "BSG Grün-Weiß Leipzig 1" in the 1. Bezirksklasse B (Leipzig) on 27 September 2026 and lists the later rounds of the 2026/27 season. The club's home page announces its 24th Christmas tournament for 19 December 2026, and its page on open introductory weeks at its two club houses (Leipzig-Plagwitz and Markkleeberg) gives sessions from Thursday 27 August to 25 September; that page prints day and month only, and the year 2026 follows from its reference to the 26th Leipzig Wasserfest, which the home page dates to 21 to 23 August 2026.
